Evolution Dance Company celebrates 20th annual recital

Last week, Evolution Dance Company celebrated its 20th annual recital. The recital was a two-day event, and the first show of each night started the event out strong. Tootsie takes New York is a tap production featuring 56 dancers from mini to senior levels and took home the Choreography Award in their session, Audience Choice Award, and Overall Choreography Award at the recent Canadian National Dance Championships. After this toe tapping start, dancers continued on with hip-hop, ballet, jazz, lyrical, creative movement, tap, and Broadway-style numbers before the grand finale.
