Stride Together Run & Walk raises $7K for TCE

Date:

The Community Exchange’s first annual Stride Together Run & Walk brought 124 participants out to Altona Park Saturday morning. TCE has picked up the torch for the long-running annual fundraiser, which was previously organized but the Curtis Klassen Memorial Fund. As always, there were 5K and 10K routes available, with everyone invited back to the park afterwards to enjoy a barbecue lunch (free for participants and by donation for everyone else), award presentations, and fun and games for the kids. Organizers on Monday shared that the day raised just over $7,000 for TCE’s community programming.
