Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School held its annual athletics awards breakfast last week.
With the school year winding down, the Royals recognized their athletes’ accomplishments during the event on Tuesday morning, where 44 awards were presented.
Leading the list of recipients were the Athletes of the Year: Madigan Czarnecki (female varsity), Nolan Dear (male varsity), Jordyn Lemire (female junior varsity) and Carson Salmon (male junior varsity).
All four athletes excelled in multiple sports during the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association season, helping earn Athlete of the Year honours.
The Royals also celebrated the achievements of athletes and teams that helped Lord Selkirk remain among the province’s top competitors in a variety of MHSAA sports.
