Jerky fundraiser ongoing for Carman ball diamond project

Date:

The Carman and Area Ball Diamond Building Project is fundraising to complete the washroom facility at the new complex with a Jerky in a Box Campaign.

This project has been very extensive and involved many moving parts. The finish line is near, but they need funds to wrap it up.

The projects left to finish include completing the washrooms with fixtures, electrical work, and sheeting on the walls and the donor board.

“The new complex is in full swing, with some finishing details to complete hopefully this fall,” said organizer Erin Lemky. “The community has been such a great supporter of this project, and we hope everyone can be as excited about it as us. We have had a few setbacks this summer, including a few vandalism incidents, which is very disheartening. Actions like this take away from our funds to move forward and hinders progress.”

For only $35, people can order a box of jerky delivered straight to their door. Please get in touch with Erin Lemky (erinlemky@gmail.com) for the entry form. Orders need to be submitted to Lemky by Oct. 25.

The company allows for four weeks for delivery so that the product will be in your hands in time for the holidays. These would make great employee gifts, friend gifts, party snacks, hostess gifts, coaches’ gifts, etc.

“Finding fundraisers that are not repetitive in a small community is a tricky task,” said Lemky. “However, this one seems to be a hit.
