The Annual General Meeting of the Interlake Community Foundation (ICF) was held at the Stony Mountain Community Centre last Wednesday evening.
The board was pleased to introduce Executive Director Tracy Holod and newest staff member, Joanne Sinclair. Currently, the ICF board consists of nine dedicated members, Lorna Broadfoot, Bob Beck, Michael Hepples, Perry van der Zweep and Murray Slagerman, Cheryle McClure and Dawn Smithson. However, two director positions are still open for those passionate about making a difference in their communities. Interested individuals can reach out directly to Board Chairman Bob Beck via email at bob.beck@interlakefoundation.ca.
Following the approval of the minutes from the previous meeting, the spotlight turned toward financial transparency with an overview of the 2024 Audited Financial Statements.
The ICF, a not-for-profit organization was established to strive to make the communities of the South Interlake region a better place to live. They provide the citizens of Rockwood, Rosser, Stonewall, Teulon and Woodlands with the opportunity to invest in the future of their community and region forever. Creating a fund with ICF is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your community. With a minimum donation of $5,000, donors have the flexibility to spread their payments over five years, making giving accessible and sustainable.
