The third annual Bigway Soup Splash Pool Party invited families down to the Morris Pool Sunday for an afternoon of swimming, a barbecue, and a gigantic pirate ship inflatable. Admission was a donation to the Red River Food Bank, either money or a can of soup. Organizers share that the rain that afternoon didn’t do much to dampen the event’s spirits—over 50 people came out and three boxes of food was collected for the food bank.
