Christmas spirit delivered in style

Date:

The holiday season took on a brighter glow in Stony Mountain thanks to a community-minded initiative by Steve and Dawn Green, owners of Rockwood Wrecking and Recovery. With help from D&M Welding, the couple designed and installed a giant Christmas ornament in their front yard on Main Street, inviting residents to donate new, unwrapped toys for the Stonewall and District Christmas Cheer Board. The display quickly became a local focal point for generosity, drawing donations from friends and neighbours throughout the season. The collected toys were delivered to the Cheer Board on Dec. 16.
