Fifty-year celebration of Stonewall personal care home

Date:

Rosewood Lodge Personal Care Home hosted a come-and-go tea on Friday to mark its 50th anniversary. More than a celebration, it served as a reunion for former staff and community members who have been part of the home’s story. Former Stonewall mayor Alex Krawec — who was instrumental in having Rosewood Lodge built 50 years ago — was among those in attendance. Pictured, from left: former Stonewall mayor Alex Krawec and his wife, Shirley; current and former Rosewood Lodge staff; and guests looking through photo albums of past activities and events.
