Date:

With a record-breaking 50 students involved in the cast and crew, Collège Stonewall Collegiate (CSC) is putting on an entertaining production that is set to bring back all those nostalgic high school memories.

High School Musical, originally written by Peter Barsocchini for Disney Channel, has captured hearts worldwide with its catchy songs and relatable storyline. Now, this group of young performers is putting their own spin on the beloved classic, promising a fresh take that will wow audiences.

From rehearsals to costume fittings, every student involved in the production plays a vital role in ensuring its success. Lead by CSC staff Kendra Obach, Lindsey Weber, Jesse Hourie and Jennifer Greigson and music by Chase Border (guitar), Dryden Budd (drums), Don Horbas (bass) and Beth Emmers (piano) the show comes alive.

The talented cast of this year’s production of High School Musical will include Avari Hildebaugh who will be captivating as Sharpay Evans, president of the Drama Club and Tobias Vandenburg who is set to shine as Ryan Evans, vice president of the Drama Club. Hudson Kinsley takes on the iconic role of Troy Bolton, captain of the basketball team while Logan Rayner steps into the shoes of Coach Bolton, adding depth and humor to the show. Leah Porteous brings her musical prowess to the role of Kelsi Neilson, the mousey composer of Juliet and Romeo.
