Interlake’s Most Promising Official

A local referee was named the Interlake’s Most Promising Official by Stony Mountain Minor Hockey last week. 

Logan MacDuff, a Level 3 official in his sixth year in the business, received the 2024 Dick Davis Award for his exceptional year of officiating games from the U11 to AAA levels in Manitoba.

In 2024, MacDuff battled adversity and injury to continue his officiating career while attending his first year of post-secondary at the University of Manitoba.

The award is named after Richard “Dick” Davis who was inducted into the Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame in 1992 for his decades of officiating hockey games from intermediate hockey all the way up to the Memorial Cup before retiring in 1962.
