Olympic spirit

Students and staff at Teulon Elementary School embraced the spirit of the 2026 Olympic Games over the past few weeks with a variety of themed activities, culminating in their own Olympic Day on Feb. 20. Dressed in red and white, participants cheered on Team Canada’s men’s hockey team while rotating through activity stations set up throughout the school. The day featured floor curling, floor hockey, hill sliding and Olympic bingo, along with creative projects such as a Canada sports mural and handmade Olympic medals. To top it all off, everyone enjoyed hot chocolate and popcorn served in homemade Olympic torches, adding an extra spark to the celebration.
