Rams suffer pair of WHSHL hockey losses on home ice

The Stonewall Rams dropped both of their home games this week in the Winnipeg High School Hockey League Winnipeg Free Press Division, beginning with an 8-2 loss to Dakota on Nov. 19.

Daniel Halleux scored for Stonewall at 11:30 of the second period, and Liam Cox added a late third-period marker off a setup from Brody Slatcher and Banx Chartrand.

The Rams were back on home ice Nov. 21, falling 9-2 to CLR. Mason Bernier scored both goals for Stonewall, striking at 3:27 of the second from Slatcher before adding a power-play marker at 1:26, again assisted by Slatcher.

Stonewall hosts Sanford on Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 4 p.m. and CPET on Friday, Dec. 5 at 4 p.m.
