Police say Campbell may be confused or disoriented, and they are concerned for his safety.

He is described as approximately 5’8” tall and 110 pounds, with grey shaggy hair, blue eyes and no facial hair. He was last seen wearing a burgundy sweatshirt, light-coloured blue jeans and black work boots.

RCMP initially believed Campbell may have been driving a blue 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix with Manitoba licence plate HET 278.

On July 24, at approximately 10:30 a.m., officers were notified that the vehicle had been located on Road 3 West, about 500 metres north of Highway 2 in the Rural Municipality of MacDonald. Campbell was not with the vehicle.

A ground search by the RCMP’s Search and Rescue Unit is ongoing. An aerial search of the area has also been completed by the Civil Air Search and Rescue Association (CASARA).

“Stewart Campbell has been missing since July 15, 2025. His Pontiac Grand Prix was located near the community of Starbuck on July 24; however, Stewart was not present with the vehicle,” said family member Peggy Latta. “His family and friends are deeply concerned about his safety and are hopeful for his return. They express appreciation for the ongoing efforts of the RCMP in managing the situation.”

Residents with property in the vicinity are asked to check their land and outbuildings, as well as review security camera footage, for any signs of the missing man.

Anyone with information on Campbell’s whereabouts is urged to call 911 or contact Stonewall RCMP at 1-204-467-5015. Anonymous tips can also be provided through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.

The investigation continues.
