The U18 AA Female Stonewall Blues battled to a 3-3 tie with the Winnipeg Ice on Tuesday before falling 4-1 to the Eastman Sharks on Sunday. With an 0-1-1-0 record, they’ll visit the Winnipeg Ice on Tuesday, Oct. 21 at 7:45 p.m. at Eric Coy Arena, then return home to face the Winnipeg Avros on Saturday, Oct. 25 at 4:30 p.m. at Access Credit Union Arena.
The U18 AAA Female Interlake Lightning found better success south of the border, earning two wins, a loss, and a tie over four games at the NIT Tournament in Blaine, Minn. In league play, they sit at 1-6 and return home for a pair of games — Saturday, Oct. 25 against the Central Plains Capitals at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 26 versus the Eastman Selects at 4:30 p.m., both at Veterans Memorial Sports Complex.
