Collège Stonewall Collegiate captured top spot at the 2025–26 Manitoba High School Athletic Association Zone V senior badminton championship, held in Stonewall last Thursday. CSC won the banner with 57 points. First- and second-place finishers advance to provincials, scheduled for April 30 to May 2 in Winnipeg. Zone V winners were: girls’ singles — CSC’s Reese Fidler; boys’ singles — CSC’s Josh Learmond; girls’ doubles — WCI’s Paige Seidel and Torie Galbraith (first) and CSC’s Sierra Slatcher and Riley Swanson (second); boys’ doubles — CSC’s Nick Turner and Reese James (second); and mixed doubles — TCI’s Kingston Lowe and Akira Abacan (first), and Tyson Valen and Kiera Spence (second).
