A 70-year-old woman from the RM of Brokenhead died following a collision between a motorcycle and a vehicle at the intersection of Highway 44 and Provincial Road 212 on May 31.
Selkirk RCMP responded to the crash at approximately 8:30 p.m. in the RM of St. Clements.
According to police, a motorcycle travelling east on Highway 44 collided with a vehicle that was crossing the highway northbound on PR 212.
The motorcycle driver, a 66-year-old man from the RM of Brokenhead, was transported to hospital by STARS Air Ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The motorcycle passenger, a 70-year-old woman from the RM of Brokenhead, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 19-year-old woman from Portage la Prairie, was taken to hospital as a precaution. Police said she did not appear to have suffered any injuries.
Selkirk RCMP and Manitoba RCMP Traffic Services continue to investigate the collision.
Police have not released the names of those involved.
