Interlake teams head to provincial qualifiers

Above: The Morweena Raptors defeated École Communautaire Aurèle-Lemoine (25-13) and (25-17) to win the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association Zone 5 Senior Girls ‘A’ Volleyball Championship banner on Nov. 6 in Fisher Branch.  This is the first girls banner won by the Raptors in any sport. Also competing in the zones were Riverton, St. Laurent and Fisher Branch. Above: The Fisher Branch Cougars defeated the Morweena Raptors in two sets, (25-13) and (25-20), to win the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association Zone 5 Senior Boys ‘A’ Volleyball Championship banner last Thursday in Fisher Branch.  Other teams included Riverton and St. Laurent/École Communautaire Aurèle-Lemoine.
