Hunters recognized at Eriksdale Game & Fish season awards

The Eriksdale Game and Fish Club recognized local hunters for a successful season during its annual awards event, which drew a strong turnout and featured several impressive trophy displays.

Club representatives congratulated all participants on their hunting achievements and thanked the community for its continued support of the small but active organization.

On behalf of the board and membership, the club also expressed appreciation to the E.M. Crowe Memorial Hospital Guild for its outstanding care and service to the community.

In the youth category, Easton Einarson captured first place with a score of 138 7/8 inches. Keegan Granberg placed second with 124 6/8 inches, followed by Harley Halldorson in third with a score of 115 6/8 inches.

Charles Langelier earned the award for most even antlers, scoring 136 2/8 inches with a difference of just 2 2/8 inches.

The non-typical category was won by Kevin Halldorson with a score of 156 6/8 inches, while Jay McCauley claimed top honours in the typical category with a score of 160 inches.

The club said the event highlighted both the success of the season and the strong community support behind its activities.
