More than 130 young treasure hunters filled the aisles at Interlake Co-op food stores in Arborg and Eriksdale last week in search of treats and surprises during the Co-op’s annual Free Kids Club Easter Hunt.
The event invited children 12 and under to solve clues and discover goodies tucked away throughout the stores in Arborg on April 1 and Eriksdale on April 2.
Each participant received a reusable Co-op fabric bag and a clue list that led them to hidden treats, including Milk2Go, Eggies, Hot Rods, popcorn and chips.

The fun didn’t stop at the finish line — all kids were treated to a cookie and a drink for the ride home.
“We were thrilled to see such great turnout at both locations,” said Interlake Co-op general manager Jordan Cook. “Events like this show how much our communities value time spent together.”
Adding to the excitement was a visit from Cooper the Co-op mascot, who drew smiles and high-fives from both kids and parents.
Cook gave a shout out to the leadership team, store staff and the Kids Club committee for pulling together a successful event.

“I am thankful we have such a great team of kids club committee members who help plan activities throughout the year.”
Local vendors also pitched in to support the festivities.
Families who want to get in on the fun year-round are encouraged to sign their little shoppers up for the Interlake Co-op Kids Club. Applications are available at any location or by emailing office-clerk@interlake.crs
