Members of the Balmoral Judo Club achieved new ranks during a Judo Manitoba black belt grading held at the University of Manitoba on June 7. Front row, from left, are Kaitlynn Barr, who earned her second-degree black belt (Nidan), and Nathaniel Panchuk, who earned his first-degree black belt (Shodan). Back row, are Jason Rogowsky, who advanced to fourth-degree black belt (Yondan); Trevor Panchuk, who earned his third-degree black belt (Sandan); and Chris Rootsaert, who earned his first-degree black belt (Shodan). All five participants were successful in their gradings.
