In Motion at Quarry Park

Date:

Visitors to Stonewall’s Quarry Park got moving and explored one of the community’s premier outdoor destinations during the Town of Stonewall’s annual Stonewall in Motion event on June 6. Held in conjunction with Manitoba Trails Day and Canada Health and Fitness Day, the morning featured a variety of activities designed to promote physical activity while showcasing the park’s amenities and recreational opportunities. Activity stations were set up throughout the park, encouraging participants to stay active, explore the trails and enjoy the outdoors while highlighting the many ways residents can incorporate recreation and healthy living into their daily routines. Participants were also entered into a draw for a free Kinsmen Lake family membership. The prize was awarded to JoAnne Dingwall.
