North Winnipeg Falcons rally through B-side to win U15 box lacrosse championship

The North Winnipeg Falcons U15 box lacrosse team battled their way to a league championship title on June 25, completing an impressive playoff comeback run.

After dropping their first playoff game, the Falcons were forced to work their way through the B-side bracket. They responded with six straight wins, ultimately defeating the A-side winner twice to secure the gold medal.

The roster featured a strong Interlake presence, including players from Stonewall, Stony Mountain and Teulon who played key roles throughout the run.

Coaches credited the group’s determination and unity for the late-season surge, noting the team continued to build confidence with every elimination game.
