Teams from across the Interlake gathered in Lundar from June 19-21 for the annual Mervin Farmer Memorial Regional Baseball Championships. The tournament featured 11U, 13U and 15U divisions, with regional banners and provincial championship berths on the line.

The Warren Wildcats captured the 15U championship banner. Warren went undefeated throughout the tournament, opening with a 14-4 victory over host Lundar before defeating Teulon 20-4. The Wildcats capped their championship run with a win over Stonewall in the final to claim the regional title.
Five teams competed in the 15U division: Warren, Teulon, Peguis, Stonewall and Lundar.
With the regional title, Warren advances to the Tier 1 Baseball Manitoba provincial championships in Wawanesa from July 10-12. Stonewall will represent the region at the Tier 2 provincial championships.
In the 13U division, eight teams competed: Balmoral, Warren, Stonewall, Lundar, Grosse Isle, Arborg, Peguis and Stony Mountain.
The Balmoral Orioles captured the 13U regional banner, defeating Grosse Isle 35-23 in the final after a 20-10 semifinal victory over Stonewall. The Orioles will compete at the Tier 2 provincial championships in Crystal City from July 10-12, while Grosse Isle will compete at the Tier 3 provincial championships in Minnedosa on the same dates.
In the 11U division, Warren, Grosse Isle, Woodlands, Arborg, Lundar, Stonewall, Peguis Girls and Peguis Boys competed for the championship banner.
The Warren Wildcats defeated Grosse Isle 2-0 in the final to claim the 11U title. The Wildcats went undefeated through league play and the regional tournament. Warren will compete at the Tier 2 provincial championships in La Broquerie from July 3-5, while Grosse Isle will play at the Tier 3 provincial championships in Grandview on the same dates.
