For the second time in three weeks, Stonewall United were unable to play due to rainy conditions.
United were set to take on WSP FC (4-0) last Friday at Veterans Memorial Sports Complex before rain forced the match to be cancelled.
It’s an unfortunate break for the club, which was looking to bounce back from a 4-2 loss to NK Croatia (1-3) the previous week.
They must now wait until this Friday to return to the field when they welcome the Wasps (1-2) to town.
The match will cap a June schedule in which Stonewall has played just two games, posting a 1-1 record.
Their overall 2-2 mark has them tied with five other teams in the middle of the Manitoba Major Soccer League Division 3 standings.
Following the match against the Wasps, United will turn the page to a busy July schedule featuring six matches.
Upcoming Game:
• Friday, June 26 vs. Wasps, 7:30 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Sports Complex.
