U12 Strikers claim league championship

The Stonewall U12 Strikers captured the gold medal at the Red River Recreational Soccer League playoff tournament in Selkirk this past weekend. The Strikers opened the tournament with a 3-3 draw against fellow Stonewall squad Uhres before edging Selkirk Purple 2-1 in their second game. The championship match featured a rematch between the Strikers and Stonewall Uhres, with the Strikers earning a 4-2 victory to secure the gold medal.
